How I got into it Sats being less busier for me, was phoned by my wife to get home early and we would go for “Being Cyrus”. Ok, I said. Went to Rivoli PVR expecting to get tickets for 6.30pm, whooooshhhhh House Full. Tickets are available for 8.30 show. Ok, in Connaught place it is not at all difficult to pass time.
What I thought I got an indication from my wife that this is all about extra marital affair between Saif and Dimple where boy is younger than the girl but the movie is “Thoda Hat ke…” Well, ok, not bad, letz see…….. What I got I got much better than I had presumed. It was altogether different stuff than other regular movies.
Casting: Very Good Acting: Excellent Direction (Homi Adajania): Excellent Cinematography: Very Good Script/Screenplay/Story: Superb.
Who should see this movie If you are a type who does not like “Thoda Hat ke” stuff, don’t go for this movie. If you want to see sex, violence, songs, comedy – kuch nahi milega. But jo milega vo in sab se better hoga. This movie is made by a parsi with a parsi background and parsi family in the movie (played superbly by all the characters).Casting and a little about movie There are six main characters in the movie out of total six characters. An Old Sculptor Dimple Kapadia: Katy Sethna: A young sexy wife of Dinshaw having multiple sex affairs Boman Irani: Faroukh Sethna: Younger Bro of Dinshaw, they don’t like each other. Having affair with Katy. Honey Chayya: Fardoonjee Sethna: Father of Dinshaw and Faroukh, living with Faroukh. He is very old, but fond of eating and drinking. Simone Singh: Tina: Wife of fat chubby Faroukh, Loves to smoke ciagarettes when Faroukh is away from house. Saif Ali Khan: Cyrus:
Not a member of the above family but has lot to do with each one of them. Fardoonjee is the owner of a big building in Bombay, the asset which is worth some crores. He is very old. He lives in one of the flat in that building and in another flat lives his younger son, Faroukh with his wife, Tina. He does not take care of his father properly. Fardoonjee’s elder son, Dinshaw lives in Hilly and green Panchgani. Cyrus comes and join this family in Panchgani as an assistant to Dinshaw. Cyrus’ childhood has passed through very poor conditions and he somewhere has an urge to get lots of money. Dinshaw is an absent minded, growing old, innocent sculpturer.
Cyrus ultimately murders Fardoonjee and Faroukh and does it so stylishly that Dinshaw and Katy are caught by the polices as all evidences go in that direction. Ok. No more revelations, plz go and watch the movie!!! Some one-liners in the movie that clicked

Perverted Message this movie delivers There is a fight for money between Need and Greed. Who won - go watch the movie and decide.
Word of Caution My wife’s views are entirely different from me on this movie. She found it an average movie. I found it an extra ordinary one. So, if you go and watch this movie on my recommendations, don’t claim the money spent on petrol, tickets, popcorn etc. etc. from me afterwards Jaideep ©
