Shootout at Lokhandwala: True rumors – wrong portrayal?

Spurt of energy/power Habilitate for killing innocents Or to Obliterate all the Traitors Of this Universe To an extent After which Thrashers or even a Lubberly man Only Knows How to Acquit the soil Not only from Devils and Wacky but Also Live terror free Afterwards

-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-xx-x-x-x-x-x-x-xPromos: Abhishek and Amitabh are a sheer waste in the movie. Their name has been used as a movie marketing gimmick and that worked also, as in Promos Amitabh is shown leading a team of Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty and many police officers and it seemed he is having a major role in the movie but actually that is the last scene when he comes out of the court along with this team. This is called height of misguiding people to go to movies through the way of fabricating promos!
Hoodlum:  Viveik Oberoi, Ronit Roy and Tusshaar Kapoor are shown as gangsters who just enjoy, dance, destroy, terrorize, kill and loot rich. Viveik works for the Don of Dubai and Tushaar belongs to another gang. Ultimately they join hands and start their own gang. All bubbly-dubbly dance numbers are filmed with large amount of money and liquor flowing inwards and outwards. They are strong, powerful, emotionless, and heartless.
Oodles: Sanjay Dutt, Suneil Shetty, Arbaz Khan are special skilled cops. Due to increasing terrorists in Mumbai, Sanjay Dutt is made head of a “Special Task Force” who has to build his team and fight against terrorists and eradicate them from Mumbai. In his search for brave, dedicated, and skilled cops he finds Suneil Shetty and Arbaz Khan and takes them in his team.
Story: First encounter is with a group of Sikh terrorists who get killed by Sanjay’s Team. Press gets alerted and a general debate starts in the city – should these brutal encounters be allowed at the hands of Cops or as usual culprits, terrorists should be jailed and then due to weak bureaucratic system, set free and again spread terrorism. Next task for Dutt’s team is “Shootout at Lokhandwala” where the above Hoodlums are hiding and Dutt gets a tip from Dubai Don against whom Viveik Oberoi has revolted. Shootout takes 3 days, bombs, missiles, cop lives and huge number of bullets. Ultimately the gangsters are killed. Lokhandwala where they are hiding is a residential house. The terror spread around the locality is genuine, the huge number of cops deputed around to kill them is surprising. A little more tactic would have allowed 3 cops only against 3 gangsters. Surprising is our Bollywood, at times a single Hero goes and blows a full gang and here a complete army of cops was required to kill three gangsters.
Noodles: The killing creates another debate and this time a special committee sits to analyze – was these killings necessary? Was it right what Dutt did? Was there any other way to handle the case? And with one line in the court our Big B – the analyzing committee and the public prosecutor wins the case and set all the cops free. Most of the times when you are having noodles, you don’t which noodle’s head is which noodle’s tail or vice versa.
Analysis: A bullet when come out of the factory does not know its destiny whether it will go inside a killer’s body or an innocent person. A stone when being cut does not know whether it will go to a temple in the form of a God or will be used to make a house or will be used to break a head. A newborn child does not know whether he will be a terrorist or a good citizen but only difference between a human being and stone/bullet is brain, conscious and intellect. A similar question was asked by Big B in the court that made the judge to give a decision in Dutt’s team favour – and the question was – “if a man with a gun is standing outside your house – what would you like that man to be – a terrorist with an aim to take your life, or a guard with an aim to save your life?”
Direction, Acting, Cast, Script, Cinematography all are good.

Disclaimer: The poem above is my original work dedicated to this movie but only if you approve it as a poem. If you look at the first letter of each line of poem, it makes a word. What is that word? All the correct entries will be entitled for a draw for an additional star mark. This style of writing where first letter of each line makes a word is called something. Anyone who tells what that is called will be entitled for “Superstar” title. -x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x
