Movie Review: Aashiqui 2: All Credit Goes To Music And Lyrics
This movie is among those few in which all the songs touch top of the charts rank. All the song, music and lyrics of this movie is fantastic. Story is about a drunkard and self demeaned singer who lost his vigor and wish to be among the best of the singers in the country though he could have. He meets a girl whose voice is as good as his and his sole intention goes into making her number one singer of the country.
The love in between them takes quite a number of twists and twirls and finally meets with a tragic end.

Movie Review: Besharam 2013: What A Shameless Attempt
If this is called acting what Ranbir Kapoor has done in Besharam 2013 directed by Abhinav Kashyap, then probably every 9 guys out of 10 in India are Ranbir Kapoor. Stupid storyline, Rubbish dialogues, and B-grade acting is short enough to win over the hearts of Indian cinema goers. Had it been some other actor than Ranbir Kapoor, the presentation could have been much better and a little graceful.
Ranbir Kapoor is Babli in Besharam, an orphan who doesn't know about his parents and has grown up in an orphanage. Due to lack of education he grows up into an arrogant, unscrupulous, shameless, unashamed and unblushing guy. Due to lack of basic education in his real life, Ranbir has all this by default and hence it was quite natural for him to perform this role in a real shameless manner. There was a total lack of decency in acting and dialogues and hence probably movie is not meant for family.
Acting by all - Pallavi Sharda, Randhir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Javed Jaffery is not more than average. Worst of them all is Ranbir's. It is a sheer waste of talent of good actors like Javed Jaffery. Overall this movie is bound to be a big flop and can't be given more than 1 out of 5 based on failure of all sections - direction, acting, songs, lyrics, script, dialogues.

Movie Review: Zanjeer (2013): No Comparison With The Original Done By Amitabh Bachchan And Pran
It would be foolish to compare Zanjeer (2013) starring Ram Charan as the angry ACP Vijay Khanna with the one made in 1973 with Amitabh Bachchan as the young angry police inspector Vijay Khanna. The earlier one is a superb classic movie and probably whatever number of remakes are done of this movie, none will be able to beat this superb movie done by Amitabh Bachchan.
Well the remake of Zanjeer starring Ram Charan, Sanjay Dutt, Priyanka Chopra, Prakash Raj and Mahi Gill is merely an okay kind of time pass. Zanjeer (2013) has been directed by Apoorva Lakhia and is on the same theme of fight between system and mafias. Ram charan as ACP Vijay Khanna is not as impressive and convincing as Amitabh Bachchan was. So instead of comparing the old Zanjeer and this new one, let us have a glance at other actors and the story.
Ram Charan is overdone in this movie where he is given a case to solve that involved an oil kingpin mafia and an eyewitness Mala (Priyanka Chopra) for a murder done by this mafia kingpin Teja (Prakash Raj). Counterpart of original role of Sher Khan played by Pran has been done by Sanjay Dutt and probably he is the one who carries the story on his shoulders throughout.
Overall if you have not seen the original Zanjeer, it is better to go for that rather than this remake.

Movie Preview: Satyagraha by Prakash Jha: Wake Up Call For Youth India: Now or Never
Prakash Jha has been known for giving meaningful, intense and thought provoking films which are mostly of political or socio-political genre. Usually his movies are multi-starrer and for last few years he has been a regular fan of Ajay Devgn for giving him lead role in his films. Mrityudand, Gangajal, Rajneeti, Damul, Apaharan, Chakravyuh are some of the hit movies Prakash Jha has given so far. And now it is Satyagraha that is planned to be released on 30th August 2013. Prakash is married to Deepti Naval, famous actress for her roles in Chashme Buddoor, Saath Saath, Ankahi etc.
Satyagraha is a waking call for youth of the country to wake up and have a final war against corruption to wipe it out of country once for all. As per Prakash Jha, Satyagraha is a mode of having a dialogue with the youth of the country. This is also a multi-starrer having Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Manoj Bajpai, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Amrita Rao and Vipin Sharma in lead roles.
The famous bhajan of Mahatma Gandhi - Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram, Patita Pavan Sita Ram... has been picturized in Satyagraha in a refined and modernized manner keeping current situation of the country in mind and also the demand of time. In this Bhajan the youth of India prays to God not to give now more patience as has been enough now. It is time to shred off the patience and kill corruption from our country.

Movie Review: Madras Cafe: A Bold Debut by John Abraham
Madras
Café is a marvelously woven intrinsic and intense movie with a classical touch.
This is a debut launch as producer from actor John Abraham and kudos to him for
starting in such a challenging and non-orthodox manner. Madras Café has John
Abraham in lead role as one of the most efficient agent in Indian Army Intelligence.
The movie has been released on 23rd Aug 2013 starring John Abraham,
Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanjay Gurbaxani, Sheetal Malhar, Rashi Khanna, Nargis
Fakhri and Leena Maria. It has been excellently directed by Shoojit Sircar.
Music Director is Shantanu Moitra. The movie belongs to Thriller genre.
This
Hindi Political Spy Thriller action packed extremely fast movie revolved around
early 1990s depicting civil war in Sri Lanka. Vikram Singh (John Abraham) is
deputed on a special and critical mission by Intelligence Agency of India, RAW
to go to Sri Lanka on a secret agenda. During his secret mission of making Anna
Bhaskaran (Ajay Ratnam), a rebel leader, a powerless entity; lot of eye opening
facts are revealed in life of Vikram Singh. Shoojit Sircar doesn't seem to
compromise even on the minutest of the scale when he is required to direct a
movie. At times the movie appears as a documentary but that is what the story
is supposed to go so as to bring some amount of absorption of theme of the
movie in its audience.
If
you intend to watch this movie for the sake of some dances, easygoing story and
lot of music, Madras Café is not meant for you. You will have to be attentive
to capture the main storyline. At many places and especially during the last
15-20 minutes, you will have to hold your nerves to catch some of the most
intense situations of the story. Overall I would recommend it as a Must Watch.
