It Is Plenty of Offers and Deals on Zoutons: Your Online Stores Collaborator

Imagine that you have to buy some clothing online and there are a number of online stores that would be providing the stuff you need. Now to know which online store is providing best of the offers, it would be an uphill task for you to find out for two main reasons - one - you won't have the patience to check all online stores one by one, by going on the portal of each to find it out; and two - it will be a massively time consuming exercise that would definitely test your guts, grits and patience.

You must thank to Zoutons, a single portal, that has the capability of providing you complete information about all online stores under different categories. So for the example taken above, you just have to go to the category "Clothing & Accessories" and there you are, with a detail of all coupons and deals. So for instance you get to know that Myntra is offering 40% off on fashion wear, Amazon is offering 60% off on Men's Clothing; and so on.

On the other hand if you don't want to go category wise, but a particular store wise to see what is there to grab you can simply do that by clicking on tab "Top Stores" instead of "Categories". So for instance to see Flipkart Offers you just need to select this particular store in the stores tab and you reach to Flipkart page where it gives details of all offers from Flipkart.

Movie Review: Kya Dilli Kya Lahore: An Offtrack Movie Presented by none other than Gulzar

If a movie is being presented by none other than veteran Bollywood legendary Gulzar, it must not be taken lightly. Yes, that is true that it doesn’t have sexy numbers or a theme, plot and story having young hero heroine, wearing short clothes, displaying body and attracting college goers with the help of its vulgar dialogues and songs.

But still a large mass of youth is serious towards good quality story, offbeat movie and thought provoking theme. That is where Kya Dilli Kya Lahore has an edge over its peer cinema released or is about to be released. The movie has been produced by Karan Arora under the banner of Picture Thoughts Production. Karan has earlier produced Bhindi Bazaar Inc. and has been co-producer of Tera Kya Hoga Johnny. Kya Dilli Kya Lahore has been released on May 2nd, 2014, presented by Gulzar, who is well acclaimed in Bollywood and is a recipient of Dadasaheb Phalke Award.

The story of Kya Dilli Kya Lahore is written by Aseem Arora and direction of this excellent movie is by Vijay Raaz. Characterization and presentation is good. The way characters build on their own with the help of story and time, is a good presentation and character building skill that has been used in the movie. Story of the movie revolves around Rehmat Ali who is a low cadre soldier in Pakistan Army, and a cook in Indian Army across the border, Samarth Pratap. Era reflected in the movie is of 1948. Both, Rehmat Ai and Samarth Pratap, posted on their respective borders, happen to encounter each other on various occasions and gradually their hatred and feeling to kill each other changes to friendship gradually.

Along with the story these two characters undergo a deep introspection and travel through their childhood. Samarth who was a resident of Lahore along with his family at the time of partition had moved to a refugee camp in Delhi whereas Rehmat who belonged to Delhi had to move to Pakistan at the same time. Then just after the interval we have a new character entering the storyline – an Army postman, Barfi Singh, played by Rajendranath Zutshi (popularly known as Raj Zutshi). Vijay Raaz himself has played the lead role of Rehmat Ali and Manu Rishi has played the role of Samarth Pratap. Lyrics/ Songs of the movie Kya Dilli Kya Lahore are by Gulzar. There is another interesting character in the movie – Pakistani Army Captain posted on the border – played by Vishwajeet Pradhan.

Overall Kya Dilli Kya Lahore is an interesting serious movie to watch with a fresh bunch of lead actors, good lyrics, dialogues that get good amount of applause and a unique style of thematic presentation of an introspecting and thought provoking story.

Movie Review: Gori Tere Pyaar Mein: Ok To Watch For One Time

Directed by Punit Malhotra, directed by Karan Johar, the love story of Gori Tere Pyaar Mein is about a young south Indian guy Sriram Venkat who returns from the U.S. after completing his studies and settles down in Bangalore. He agrees to marry a girl Vasudha as per his parents choice but the girl is unwilling to marry Venkat as she loves some other guy.

Venkat meets Vasudha and tells her about his earlier fiancee Dia who left him due to their huge difference in lifestyle and preferences. Gradually Vasudha agrees to marry Venkat but on their wedding day she convinces him that Dia is the only love of his life and he would not be able to live without her. And then there is a twist in the story....

Roles are well played by Venkat (Shahid Kapoor), Vasudha (Shraddha Kapoor) and Dia (Kareena Kapoor Khan)...

Movie Review: Dhoom 3: Whole Credit For Good Collection Goes To Aamir Khan

New faces on Dhoom 3 are Aamir Khan (as Sahir and Samar), Katrina Kaif (as Aaliya), Jackie Shroff (as Iqbal Haroon Khan, Father of Sahir and Samar) Andrew Bicknell (as Anderson, owner of One of the biggest chain of banks in Chicago - Western Bank of Chicago) and Tabrett Bethell (as Victoria, local police associate). The regular faces are that of ACP Jai Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan) and Ali Akbar (Uday Chopra). Story writer and director Vijay Krishna Acharya and producer Aditya Chopra have put in all their efforts possibly to make it another hit, which is being proven right, looking at the collection at box office in India and abroad.

If the collection goes beyond estimated, the whole credit would go to Aamir Khan who has stolen the show with his usual style of gelling well with the character that he has to live in any movie. And if the collection goes less than the estimation, the discredit must go on the poor story line even after putting lot of efforts by other sections to overcome the shortfall. Katrina has as usual nothing to give much to the credit of a movie except using her unilateral talent that she carries since beginning of her career. Abhishek Bachchan has nothing fresh to provide in Dhoom 3. In fact he seems to be lingering on with the same style of working. Uday Chopra also had the same style of comedy.

In any case Dhoom 2 still stays at the top among all three versions so far as far as story, direction, perfection, comedy, acting and delivery is concerned, may be due to Hrithik Roshan whose acting and delivery is difficult to beat by anyone in the industry. Even Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra were better in Dhoom 2. Overall, still a good to watch and enjoy movie, because of two Aamir Khans in the movie with excellent piece of acting  by both characters.

5 Offbeat Must Watch Movies

5 Offbeat Bollywood Hindi movies that I would like to recommend are as below:

1. Bazaar: Directed by Sagar Sarhadi, Bazaar was a mission to convey a strong message against girl child selling from India, belonging to poor families, to Outside countries. The movie had most of the parallel cinema actors that became a solid factor to make it more powerful. Actors like Farookh Shaikh, Naseeruddin Shah, Supriya Pathak and Smita Patil in lead roles.

2. Arth: Arth was directed by Mahesh Bhatt in 1982 with a strong cast of Shabana Azmi, Smita Patil, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Kiran Kumar. The movie is about a successful director Inder (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) and his extra marital relationship with Kavita (Smita Patil) that his wife Pooja (Shabana Azmi) comes to know at some point of time. Pooja leaves her husband for cheating her and that is where Raj (Raj Kiran) comes into her life to take her out of her depression phase. A must watch to understand the complex relationship in life and how to manage them in a better way.

3. Shatranj Ke Khiladi: Directed by Satyajit Ray in 1977, Shatranj Ke Khiladi is based on classic tale from Munshi Premchand. Amzad Khan, Sanjeev Kumar, Richard Attenborough, Saeed Jaffery and Shabana Azmi in lead roles. The story is about Wajid Ali Shah and his life filmed around 1857 era. A good to watch movie to learn about Wajid Ali Shah and Awadh.

4. Satyakam: A 1969 movie directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, is based on the novel written by Narayan Sanyal in Bengali with the same name. This classic movie had Dharmendra, Sharmila Tagore, Sanjeev Kumar and Ashok Kumar in lead roles. The story is about a lifelong struggle of Satyapriya Acharya (Dharmendra) for his ideologies and the sacrifices he was forced to make to maintain this.

5. Jajantaram Mamantaram: Directed by Soumitra Ranade, Jajantaram Mamantaram was released in 2003. The story is about Gulliver's travel encounter with Bakasura based on the book by Jonathan Swift. An interesting movie to watch especially by kids.

5 Offbeat Movies That Are A Must Watch

Top post on IndiBlogger.in, the community of Indian Bloggers
Movies come in different flavors. Some movies wake us, some rake us, some shake us, some take us, some make us and some fake us...

It is very difficult to ascertain that a movie which I liked 5 years back will have the same impact alive still. There are still certain movies that you might have watched 20 years back and still feel some touch alive that you found as the best part of that movie. The same fragrance in such cases stays there for years without losing a bit out of it. The credit for such movies can never go to a single dimension - story, songs, dialogues, direction, set design, acting etc. In such cases, the effort involved is manifold and hence credit goes multiple departments.

It requires a big heart to opt for an offbeat movie over a masala/ commercial movie by a producer/ director as the chances of failure go higher in an offbeat movie. Advantage of an offbeat movie is that usually it asks for low budget in its making...but is not true in all cases.

Top 5 offbeat movies that are a must watch in my opinion are as below, as these are the movies that force you to think differently...

1. Bemisaal: This 1982 movie that was produced by Debesh Ghosh and directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee had a strong story line with excellent direction and acting. Cast included Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Mehra, Rakhee, and Deven Verma. Story is about an orphaned boy living in a very poor and shabby condition when gets adopted by a rich family where he becomes a part and he grows well along with the same age son of that family. A time comes when this orphan child does not take a minute to decide on taking a tough call of his life to pay back the debts to this family. A must watch...to learn some great life lessons presented in a very powerful way...

2. Sadma: Sadma came in 1983 that was directed by Balu Mahendra. Cast of this movie is Kamal Hassan and Sridevi and music is from Ilyaraja. The movie was about a young girl who goes back to her childhood mentally after meeting with a serious accident, played by Sridevi, who gets rescued by Kamal Hassan. The movie has many serious and emotional twists that will bring tears to your eyes.

3. Hey Ram: The movie was selected for Oscars in Best Foreign Film category for the year 2000. Hey Ram was directed, produced and written by Kamal Hassan and strongly displayed the all round capabilities of this versatile actor. The movie is about the partition time and about killing of Mahatama Gandhi by Nathuram Godse. This off beat movie did not do well in India but was well praised all across the globe in most of the countries.

4. Mili: Released in 1975, directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, the movie has Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Ashok Kumar in lead roles. The story of Mili is about a girl who is suffering from a serious disease termed as Pernicious Anemia where chances of survival are minimal or rather negligible. The movie has many ups and down with a number of heart touching messages. This girl who knows that she will be dying soon loves to live her life without compromising with her happiness. A young man who comes to live in the neighborhood is always depressed and lost in drinks. The girl becomes an inspiration for this man who stops drinking, starts living his life and gradually falls in love with this girl... without knowing about the serious facts about the girl who is going to die soon.

5. Aadharshila: An off beat movie produced and directed by Ashok Ahuja in 1982 had Naseeruddin Shah and Anita Kanwar in lead roles. The story, it is said, is the reality faced by Ashok Ahuja about his struggles and hardship during becoming a filmmaker. A good to watch damn serious movie...

Micro Review: Bollywood Movie: Agneepath

First to Review on Amazon India
Rated 4.0 out of 5
An Excellent Acting By Amitabh, Mithun And Danny
AGNEEPATH (old)
Amitabh Bachchan, Danny Denzongpa and Mithun Chakraborty did a fantastic piece of acting in Agneepath that was released in 1990, directed by Mukul S Anand. Both Amitabh and Mithun got National Film Award for acting in this movie for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor respectively.

Though it did not make much collection at box office but the movie has established itself as a landmark and thus becomes a must watch.
